No Kings II protestors set to take to Richmond’s Capitol

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond area will see protesters marching from the Capitol to Monroe Park as part of the "No Kings II" protest.

The protest is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. where speakers will address the crowd, followed by protests starting at 2 p.m.

The march will start at Richmond's Capitol, go through the downtown area and end at VCU's Monroe Park.

What to know about upcoming ‘No Kings’ protests

Saturday's protest has been organized by RVA Indivisible and 50501 and will, "build on the turnout of several thousand concerned residents to the to the first No Kings protest last June,
No Kings II will once again affirm support for a federal government adhering to the U.S.
Constitution, the laws passed by Congress, and to the principles of democracy."
