Join Norfolk Arts as we welcome local photographer Glen McClure for the opening of his solo exhibition "Urban Color" at our Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center.
From the asphalt of a crowded parking lot to an Irish coastal cliff, Glen McClure seeks to record intriguing moments found in both ordinary and remote places.
When something catches his eye, he works swiftly to capture the scene. Later, in the digital darkroom, he carefully interprets each image-spending a significant amount of time enhancing every texture, form, line and detail.
Urban Color is a curated collection of some of McClure’s most recent memorable discoveries drawn from explorations throughout Norfolk, Virginia and well beyond.
