One adult female shot on Cliffbrook Avenue in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- At approximately 9:27 p.m. Henrico police responded to a call of a reported firearm violation on the 1800 Block of Cliffbrook Lane.

According to police, an adult female was shot and was transported in a "private car," when officers then intercepted and located that victim and vehicle at Libbie Avenue and West Broad Street.

Officers say she was transported by Henrico Fire to an area hospital for treatment, where she is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
