Operation Harvest to provide Thanksgiving meals at Richmond Raceway

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Saint Paul's Baptist Church has partnered with other churches and community organizations to provide Thanksgiving meals to thousands of families at Richmond Raceway on Thursday.

People can head to Richmond Raceway at 600 E. Laburnum Ave. on Thursday, Nov. 28, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. to receive Thanksgiving meals and access to resources related to physical and mental health, employment, housing and more.

The partnership includes 47 local churches and organizations to help host Operation Harvest: RVA Community Thanksgiving Distribution, which is estimated to provide meals to over 2,000 families in need, according to a release.
