Over 27,000 homes, businesses without power in Central Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 27,000 homes and businesses are without power throughout Central Virginia Thursday morning.
As of 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, the following localities were experiencing power outages, according to Dominion Energy:
- Chesterfield County: 5,136 homes and businesses without power
- Henrico County: 5,168 homes and businesses without power
- Richmond: 4,658 homes and businesses without power
- Powhatan County: 3,943 homes and businesses without power
- Prince Edward County: 4,349 homes and businesses without power
- Cumberland County: 1,887 homes and businesses without power
- Goochland County: 729 homes and businesses without power
- Amelia County: 883 homes and businesses without power
- Hanover County: 549 homes and businesses without power
At the peak of outages on Wednesday, Feb. 12, over 130,000 Central Virginia homes and businesses were without power.
