Over 28K Central Virginia homes and businesses remain without power after severe weather
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 28,000 homes and businesses in Central Virginia remained without power Monday morning following severe weather.
As of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, July 27, the following outages remained in these Central Virginia localities, according to Dominion Energy:
- Richmond: 4,935 homes and businesses without power
- Henrico County: 10,799 homes and businesses without power
- Hanover County: 9,158 homes and businesses without power
- Petersburg: 1,802 homes and businesses without power
- Chesterfield County: 857 homes and businesses without power
- Charles City County: 563 homes and businesses without power
- New Kent County: 292 homes and businesses without power
In the evening on Sunday, July 27, more than 90,000 customers were without power.
