Over 32,000 homes, businesses without power in Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 32,000 homes and businesses are without power throughout Central Virginia Wednesday afternoon.

As of 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the following localities were experiencing power outages, according to Dominion Energy:

  • Chesterfield County: 8,005 homes and businesses without power
  • Henrico County: 7,784 homes and businesses without power
  • Richmond: 5,759 homes and businesses without power
  • Powhatan County: 3,942 homes and businesses without power
  • Prince Edward County: 2,631 homes and businesses without power
  • Cumberland County: 1,833 homes and businesses without power
  • Goochland County: 845 homes and businesses without power
  • Amelia County: 849 homes and businesses without power
  • Hanover County: 630 homes and businesses without power

At the peak of these outages, over 130,000 Central Virginia homes and businesses were without power.
