Over a dozen Richmond roads to see weeks of lane closures
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over a dozen roadways in the city of Richmond will see two weeks of lane closures starting this Friday.
There will be daily, temporary lane closures from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting on Friday, May 9 and ending on Friday, May 23 on a total of 15 city roadways.
The affected road sections are as follows:
- Cedar Street, from East Broad Street to Dead End
- Venable Street, from North 25th Street to Oliver Hill Way
- Russell Street, from Carrington Street to Burton Street
- P Street, from North 25th Street to Burton Street
- Burton Street, from Russell Street to North 25th Street
- Pink Street, from Carrington Street to Burton Street
- North 24th Street, from Cedar Street to Burton Street
- Tulip Street, from Carrington Street to Burton Street
- North 23rd Street, from Burton Street to Jefferson Avenue
- Jessamine Street, from Carrington Street to North 23rd Street
- North 22nd Street, from Carrington Street to Jefferson Avenue
- North 21st Street, from Carrington Street to Princess Avenue
- Princess Avenue, from Mosby Street to North 21st Street
- East Leigh Street, from North 21st Street to Jefferson Avenue
- M Street, from North 21st Street to North 25th Street
According to the city's Department of Public Works (DPW), this will allow for a contractor to resurface the street in these road sections.
