Prince Edward County Animal Care and Control, alongside the county's sheriff's department, executed a search warrant at a home on Mountain Creek Road on Tuesday, Oct. 15. This warrant was obtained after concerns about the welfare of the animals -- which the owner was allegedly breeding and selling, according to authorities -- were brought to the attention of the authorities.
