Overnight closure coming to Henrico roadway

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- On Tuesday, all westbound lanes of Bethlehem Road between Roux Street and Staple Mills Road will be closed during the late evening and overnight hours.

The closure is due to a gas utility installation. It will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11.

According to a Facebook post from Henrico County, if necessary, the closure will resume during the same hours from Wednesday night through the morning of Tuesday, June 12. Daytime traffic will not be affected.

While the road work is underway, a detour route will be available. Drivers should use Staples Mill, Libbie Mill East Boulevard and Libbie Lake East Street.
