Person dead after crash involving two tractor-trailers on I-295 in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A person is dead after a crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 295 in Henrico County on Friday night. Virginia State Police said it is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers on I-295 southbound near Pocahontas Parkway in Henrico County which occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31. According to officials, one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. Virginia State Police said troopers are working to identify the victim and notify the next of kin.
