Person injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-95, significant delays in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 that left one person injured caused significant delays in Chesterfield County on Friday afternoon.
At 3:35 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, Virginia State Police troopers responded to a four-vehicle crash on I-95 South at Route 288 North at Exit 62 in Chesterfield County.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all lanes were closed near Route 288 at mile marker 63.2 due to this crash.

One person was taken to VCU Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
At one point, there was as much as five miles of backed-up traffic, according to VDOT.
The scene was marked clear and lanes were reopened around 5:30 p.m.
