Person of interest sought in attempted Henrico robbery

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police is currently asking for help from the public to identify a person of interest in an attempted robbery that took place last month. According to police, officers responded to the 5400 block of W. Broad Street at 11:22 p.m. on Dec. 26 for an attempted robbery. When they arrived, officers talked to the caller who told them that a person unknown to them "entered the business and demanded money from a cashier," according to police. The person then fled the store on foot. The person of interest, pictured below, has been described as a white male and was wearing a red sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
