Petersburg appoints new deputy city manager for community development
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- The city of Petersburg announced the appointment of its newest deputy city manager for community development on Tuesday.
Jeff Stoke has been selected for the position after most recently serving as the county administrator in Prince George since 2022, per a city release.
Stoke held several other key roles throughout the 14 years he worked at Prince George, including Deputy County Administrator and Director of Economic Development.
As deputy city manager for community development, Stoke will supervise initiatives regarding Petersburg's economic growth.
"Petersburg has incredible potential, and I look forward to working alongside city leaders, businesses, and residents to drive economic growth, attract new opportunities, and continue building a thriving community," Stoke said in a press release.
