Petersburg summer camp registration now open, offering free fun activities for kids

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Registration for summer camp in Petersburg is now open.

In a Facebook post, the City of Petersburg announced that registration is open for its summer camp, available to city residents between the ages of 6 and 12.

The camp will run from June 16 through July 31, and will be closed on June 19. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at Walnut Hill Elementary School.

Campers must have their own transportation -- breakfast and lunch will be provided. The camp is free, but registration is required.
