CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- In addition to performing their everyday life-saving duties, Chesterfield County firefighters made a special stop on Sunday to help a local Make-A-Wish kid get his dream trip.

On Sunday, June 8, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS went down to the Foxcreek neighborhood to participate in a Make-A-Wish fundraiser.

The Make-A-Wish child, Patton, is raising money for a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, according to fire officials.
