RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- This Fourth of July, Central Virginians gathered together to celebrate America's independence with food, fireworks and fun.

On Friday, July 4, Central Virginia embraced the festive spirit of Independence Day with a variety of events held throughout the region.
