HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Plenty of people came out to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Sunday to enjoy HarvestFest -- a celebration of fall that included food, activities and more. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden hosted its annual HarvestFest on Sunday, Oct. 27, offering people the opportunity to enjoy pumpkin carving and line dancing as well as fall-themed foods like bratwursts and ciders. Mir Moyer, Exhibits and Events Coordinator at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, spoke to 8News about what they enjoy about the festival and what they think would entice future participants to come out for the event. "There's fun for everybody," Moyer said. "We made sure to make the event very balanced so that there's things for everybody to enjoy, and I'm personally excited to just get a bratwurst and hang around. It's a perfect, very crisp autumn day, so I think it's a great day to celebrate HarvestFest personally." To learn more about the event and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, visit this link.
