PHOTOS: Howliday Market and Photos kicks off the holiday spirit
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The second annual Howliday Market and Photos event returned to Richmond this weekend, bringing plenty of tail-wagging fun for furry friends and their human companions.
On Saturday, Nov. 22, Richmond SPCA, a nonprofit animal sheltering and advocacy organization, brought together families, friends and pets for an afternoon of fun-filled holiday shopping and activities.
"This is the season for giving, so we felt this was the perfect opportunity to create an event where our supporters can come out and have a wonderful time and also give back to support the pets in our care," said organizer Janae Jones.
The event featured more than 30 local businesses and vendors in the Richmond area. Families were also able to get festive professional photos taken with their pets for a $25 donation.
