PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A malfunctioning power line started a brush fire in Prince George County on Tuesday. On the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 29, firefighters with Prince George County Fire & EMS responded to the 11900 block of South Crater Road after receiving multiple reports of a brush fire. According to fire officials, a caller described smoke coming from a wooded area. When they arrived, firefighters found a slow-moving brush fire near some power lines. "Initial investigation suggests that a malfunctioning power line may have caused the fire," fire officials said.
