PHOTOS: Richmond shows up for local author’s book tour launch
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond-area book lovers came out in force Monday night to support local award-winning author Sadequa Johnson as she kicked off her newest book tour alongside one of 8News' own.
On Monday, Feb. 9, Grace Baptist Church in Henrico County was filled to the brim as more than 400 people packed the pews to hear about Johnson's newest book, "Keeper of Lost Children."
The historical fiction novel centers around three mixed-race children in the wake of World War II and how one woman's vision "will change the course of countless lives."
