PHOTOS: Worker falls into trench at Chesterfield construction site
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A worker fell into a trench at a Chesterfield County construction site on Monday.
On Monday, June 9, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to a construction site in a neighborhood off of Hull Street Road after a worker fell into a trench.
When firefighters got to the site, they learned that crew members were able to rescue the man shortly before they arrived. Thankfully, he was not hurt.
Fire officials provided drone shots of the site, showing the large trench involved in this incident.

"Our firefighters use drones like this on a variety of different calls to help them get an aerial view of conditions at a scene," officials said. "Pilots can also live stream video to the incident commander on scene and, during large-scale incidents, to an Emergency Operations Center."
