Poe Museum in Richmond to hold free family day event for National Poetry Month
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- In celebration of National Poetry Month, the Poe Museum in Richmond will hold a family day event on Saturday with crafts, games and stories.
On Saturday, April 19, an "Edgar's Enchanted Garden Family Day" event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Poe Museum in Richmond, offering free Poe-inspired arts, crafts and programming.
Attendees are encouraged to explore the museum's Enchanted Garden, and parents can grab a book to read with their children among the flowers.
The Poe Museum will provide a select number of stories, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own books, as well.
The event is free for families with children under the age of 18 years old.
