Police search for 2 people after Richmond woman killed by driver
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Investigators are searching for two women police say were with a Richmond woman when she was hit and killed by a driver in Oct. 2024. Just before 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2024, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike for the report of a pedestrian hit by an SUV. When officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Tomorrow Brooks of Richmond, unresponsive in the westbound lane. She died at the scene, according to police. Investigators with the RPD Crash Team determined that Brooks was trying to cross from the north side of the street to the south side, utilizing a mid-block crossing, when she was hit. No charges have been filed as of the time of reporting.
