Police search for suspects after vehicle break-ins, credit card thefts and fraud in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Police are searching for three suspects after several vehicles were broken into along Moores Lake Road in Chesterfield County in early October and a stolen credit card was used in a purchase at a Wawa.

On Oct. 6, several vehicles were broken into in the 12200 block of Moores Lake Road in Chesterfield County, according to the Chesterfield County Police Department.

Officials said multiple items, including credit cards, were stolen from the vehicles.

On Oct. 7, police said three Black male suspects were seen on surveillance video walking into the Wawa at 11701 Route 1 in Chesterfield County and fraudulently using one of the stolen credit cards to make a purchase.

The suspects reportedly left the area in a silver or gray 2008 Ford Expedition.

Police shared the following images of the suspects captured on surveillance cameras in an attempt to assist the public in identifying them.
