Police searching for attempted break-in suspect caught on camera in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera while trying to break into a Henrico County home on Sunday. On Sunday, Nov. 10, officers with the Henrico County Police Division were called to the 200 block of Running Cedar Lane for report of an attempted break-in. When they arrived, officers learned that the suspect had run away from the scene after he was caught on a security camera walking around the home. According to police, he did not get inside the house. Stills from the security camera -- shown below -- appear to show the suspect in what may be the home's garage, as there is what looks like a garage door behind him. The suspect is described as a male who, at the time of the incident, was wearing a red hoodie and a black stocking cap. He was also carrying a bookbag and a flashlight.
