Powhatan County to host Halloween, trick-or-treat event

POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- With Halloween just a day away, Powhatan County is inviting the community to a trick-or-treating event in the village on Halloween.
From 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, the upcoming "Trick-or-Treat" event -- sponsored by Powhatan Economic Development & Tourism -- will include a trick or treating spot and a chance to showcase creative costumes, according to a social post on Oct. 30.

According to the county, residents are encouraged to come by the administration building from 4 to 5 p.m. for treats, and then explore all the stops marked on the map.
Parking, photo opportunities and safety spots for a smooth and spooky evening will also be available for families, per the county.
