Prince George County working on slurry seal treatments
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Prince George County will conduct slurry seal treatments on several country roads later this week.
According to a social post from the county government, the slurry seal treatments, which the Virginia Department of Transportation will conduct throughout the county from Thursday, March 20, to Friday, March 21, can extend a roadway's life by 4 to 5 years.
A slurry seal is a mixture of water, asphalt emulsion and aggregate that spreads over an entire roadway surface. It addresses cracking, weathering, moisture infiltration, roughness and loss of friction.

- Chesire Drive
- Briarwood Circle
- Lafayette Street
- Cousins Avenue
- Kennedy Street
- Madison Street
- Hermitage Court
- Edinburg Court
- Butor Road
- Devon Court
- Westbrook Road
- Spring Road
- Brandywine Drive
- Pruett Drive
- Old Iron Road
- Hyde Park Drive
- Berkshire Drive
- London Road
