Prince George picks man with 40+ years of experience as new director of general services
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Prince George County has announced a Virginia Beach native with over 40 years of experience as the new director of general services.
The county said that Scott Enos Sr. has been appointed as the director of the Department of General Services, effective Monday, June 16, in a release in the morning of Wednesday, June 11.
“We are excited to bring Mr. Enos into the Prince George County leadership team and look
forward to the General Services Department having a positive impact on our buildings and
grounds operations,” Stoke said.

According to the release, Enos began his career in the mechanical trade industry in 1984, and has more than four decades of experience in the trades and construction industry. He has been with the county since March and was reportedly hired as the maintenance supervisor on the General Services team.
“I’m honored and proud to be part of Prince George community and excited about the
opportunity to be instrumental in the success of the county moving forward,” Enos said.
Enos previous worked as a service technician, a technical trainer and service advisor, helping private and federal contractors in Virginia.
His motto is “Never ask somebody to do something you’re not willing to do yourself," which he said taught him to lead by example, according to the release.
The Department of General Services serves as an internal resource division and provides a wide range of services to the County Departments and Agencies.
