RACC to reduce adoption fees for New Year’s Eve

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Great news for animal lovers! The Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) is reducing its adoption fees tomorrow to ring in the New Year.
RACC announced on Tuesday, Dec. 30, that it's dropping its adoption fees from $100 to $26 on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The effort celebrates the animals at the facility and aims to find them a loving home as we're days away from 2026.
The shelter will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 31.
