Recycling facility catches fire in Chesterfield County
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A recycling facility in Chesterfield County caught fire Saturday morning.
At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, crews with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS responded to the 11800 block of Lewis Road for a report of a fire. The building is reportedly a recycling facility.
Upon arrival, crews found several large piles of trash on fire at the facility. Firefighters got the fire under control in about 45 minutes, per Chesterfield officials.
No injuries were reported.
