Reward offered after commercial equipment vandalized, damaged in Brunswick
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A cash reward is available after several pieces of commercial equipment were vandalized at a Brunswick County work site.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office were called to a new construction site in the area of W. Third Avenue and Elm Street for report of a large commercial vandalism.
When they arrived, authorities found several pieces of commercial machinery and equipment that had been "significantly damage[d]." Wires and hoses had been cut, damaged or removed and glass had been broken.
The company that owns this equipment, Howerton Construction, is offering a $2,500 reward -- through its insurance -- to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest in this incident.
