Richmond Animal League to host rescue adoption event

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Animal League (RAL) is hosting a Rescue Roundup adoption event this month to bring together adoptable pets from across the region.
The Rescue Roundup will take place on Friday, March 21 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Richmond Animal League shelter located at 11401 International Dr in North Chesterfield.

People will have the opportunity to meet dogs and cats from several different local animal shelters and animal control agencies. There will also be on-site adoption counselors at the event to help would-be pet owners, as well as Happy Place Mobile Pizza food truck.

- Hanover County Animal Control
- Chesterfield County Animal Services
- Lunenburg County Animal control
- New Kent Animal Protection
- King William Regional Animal Shelter
- Petersburg Animal Care & Control
