Richmond Police to hand out free steering wheel locks

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department will be giving away free steering wheel locks to city residents who own Hyundai and Kia vehicles on Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Westover Hills Elementary School, Richmond residents who own a Kia or Hyundai vehicle will be able to get a free steering wheel lock while supplies last. Attendees can drive up to the parking area, show proof of residency and proof of ownership of a Hyundai or Kia, and get a free steering wheel lock.
