Richmond SPCA hosting discounted cat adoption event at local bookstore
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- You can enjoy a good read with a furry friend during a book-themed Richmond SPCA cat adoption event on Sunday.
From noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, the Richmond SPCA will host a special adoption event at locally-owned bookstore I Love You So Much Books, located at 119 W. Brookland Park Boulevard.
During this event, visitors can spend time with a selection of the Richmond SPCA's adoptable cats while browsing the bookstore's offerings. Any adoptions made at the event will be 25% off.

"We’ll have lots of sweet, snuggly cats ready to be adopted into lasting, loving homes," the shelter said.
The available cats will include two litters of kittens -- one of which is pictured above -- and two adult cats, a Richmond SPCA spokesperson said. The kittens will not be available prior to Sunday's event, so anyone interested in adopting one or more of them should plan to attend.
