Road closed in Chesterfield due to broken utility pole
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A road is closed in Chesterfield County on Sunday afternoon due to a broken utility pole.
At around 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, the Chesterfield County Police Department reported that Qualla Road, between Crumpland Road and Clearpoint Drive, will be closed for an "extended period of time" as crews repair a downed utility pole and lines.

Officials advise drivers to seek alternate routes.
According to Dominion Energy's power outage map, about 153 customers are without power due to the broken utility pole as of 2 p.m. Sunday.
Dominion Energy said the estimated time for power to be restored to those affected in the area will be between 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday.
