Roads to close for Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k this weekend
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- As runners prepare, local drivers can too -- the road closures for Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k have been announced.
Although the 10k itself will take place on Saturday, April 12 -- with 25,000 runners and walkers expected to participate -- road closures and no parking notices will begin on Thursday, April 10, the first day of the two-day Health and Fitness Expo.
The Richmond Police Department recently released several lists, seen below, detailing the roads that will be closed in the area and where people will not be allowed to park.
