‘Runaway rooster’ caught by Orange County Sheriff’s Office
ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A "runaway rooster" was "apprehended" by the Orange County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday -- and authorities are still looking for his owner.
According to a June 11 post from the sheriff's office, the rooster was found at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 20 near Two Brothers Pizza.
A corporal that has several chickens of his own was eventually able to grab the rooster, getting him to a safer spot.
