Several children reportedly injured after hit-and-run involving Chesterfield school bus
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Several children were taken to a hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Thursday involving a Chesterfield County Public School bus.
At around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, Chesterfield Police were called to Elkhardt Road and Pocoshock Boulevard for a hit-and-run involving a school bus.
According to police, children were on the bus at the time of the crash and several were reportedly taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
However, officials said they do not believe the crash caused significant damage to the school bus.
Police could not confirm what school the bus was traveling to or the ages of the children on the bus.
