Several GRTC buses to experience temporary detours, delays due to Richmond race

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Several Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) buses will experience temporary detours and potential delays in Richmond on Saturday due to the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.

On Saturday, April 12, detours for several GRTC buses will be in effect from 5 a.m. until around 3:30 p.m. due to road closures for the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.

According to a spokesperson for GRTC, routes 14, 19, 20, 50, 76, 77, 78 and the Pulse Bus Rapid Transit will operate with modified service. Riders are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel.
