Several packages, other items stolen from Richmond apartment building, business

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Several packages and other items were stolen from a Richmond apartment building and business in early February, with police asking for the public's help in finding who may be responsible.

On Monday, Feb. 9, the Richmond Police Department took to Facebook to ask for the public's help in identifying a suspect linked to two recent thefts.

According to police, the suspect -- pictured below -- is accused of stealing "several packages" from an apartment building in the 1600 block of W. Broad Street, as well as "multiple items" from a business in the 00 block of E. Broad Street.

The incidents reportedly took place during the week of Monday, Feb. 2.

The suspect was seen carrying the green backpack pictured above following both thefts. He was also seen leaving the scene of the E. Broad Street theft riding a silver or metallic blue bicycle.
