Severe thunderstorm warning issued for some Central Virginia localities

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in multiple Central Virginia localities Friday evening.

The following Central Virginia localities will be under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:15 p.m. on Friday, July 18:

• Richmond
• Henrico County
• Hanover County

The following Central Virginia localities will be under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6:45 p.m. on Friday:

• Buckingham County

A severe thunderstorm warning means that a severe thunderstorm or storms have been located in or near the impacted areas.
