PHOTOS: Cat rescued after being stuck on roof in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Lucky the cat is truly lucky after he was saved from the roof of a house in Chesterfield on Sunday morning!
In the morning of Sunday, March 22, Chestefield Fire and EMS responded to a neighborhood off Genito Road to help a family rescue their cat who was stuck on the roof of their two-story house.
The cat, Lucky, had been on the roof for over a day before his family reached out to Chesterfield crews for assistance.

Firefighters were able to use ladders to retrieve the cat and bring him down to safety.
Lucky is doing okay and feline good after being back on the ground!
