Sheriff searching for trailer theft suspect in Rawlings

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office is investigating an enclosed trailer theft that took place in the Rawlings area. At 1:47 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, deputies responded to a report of a stolen enclosed trailer in the 6000 block of Lew Jones Road in Rawlings. According to sheriff deputies, the theft and the suspect's vehicle were caught on private surveillance camera footage. The suspect's vehicle, pictured above, is described as an older silver Dodge Dakota 4x4 extended cab with several damages. The stolen trailer is a 7x16 white Rock Solid enclosed trailer that contained multiple tools and equipment -- including Husqvarna saws, spectrum pipe lasers, a Honda water pump, a 2000KW generator, a handheld post hole digger and other construction items.
