Six people displaced after house fire in Richmond’s Northside
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Six people are displaced after a house fire early Wednesday morning in Richmond's Northside.
According to officials, fire crews were dispatched at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, to the 3000 block of Moss Side Avenue.
When crews arrived, they found what they described as heavy fire on the first and second floors.
There were no reported injuries, as the residents weren't home at the time of the fire. However, six people were displaced, and according to officials, are being helped by the Red Cross.
Officials said they were able to get the scene under control in approximately 15 minutes, but there is no word yet on what caused the fire.
