Some Hopewell residents encounter issues with online portal for sewer and trash utilities
HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- Some Hopewell residents may be experiencing issues with the online portal for sewer and trash utilities.
According to a release shared by Minol USA on Friday, Feb. 27, some customers' account balances are not displaying correctly in the online portal.
"This is the result of a technical issue on our end," the Minol USA release reads. "We are actively working to resolve the error as quickly as possible, and we anticipate having accurate balances restored soon."
Anyone in need of assistance verifying their current balance or charges due is encouraged to contact the Minol USA call center at 888-627-1610.
Minol USA partnered with the City of Hopewell in September of last year to modernize the sewer and trash billing system with new services, such as the online portal.
"We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause. This type of issue is not a regular occurrence, and we are implementing updated processes and safeguards to help ensure it does not happen again in the future," the release reads. "Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to correct this issue."
