StormTracker 8: A touch of fall today & Friday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - We will see plenty of sunshine to call Central Virginia today and it will be a great day in fact a little touch of fall with highs in the upper 60s. Clear skies tonight and a little chilly with lows in the middle 40s. Plenty of sunshine for Friday with highs again in the upper 60s. Saturday will be a little bit of a better day with highs in the middle two upper 70s under sunny skies. Mostly sunny skies will be with us for Sunday with highs near 80. A weak weather system will push through the region on Monday giving us partly sunny skies and our temperatures will be a touch cooler with highs around 70. By the middle of next week, the cool air will filter into the region in fact we will have highs in the lower 60s for Tuesday and Wednesday under partly to mostly sunny skies and only in the middle 60s by Thursday with that sunshine continuing. Tracking the tropics Hurricane Milton is a category 1 storm with winds of 85 mph and it moving away from the Florida coast this morning. Today will be a day for many residents of Florida to start to pick up from the damage of Milton and there are many residents without power this morning due to the strong winds of Milton.
