StormTracker 8: A windy Thursday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - To finish off the current work week, across Central Virginia, we are in for a seasonable finish and quieter weather compared to what we experienced yesterday during that powerful storm system on Wednesday, that prompted multiple watches and warnings, along with gusty winds and lots of rainfall.
Today will be a windy day at times, with sustained winds of 5 to 15 mph, and wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph or higher possible under partly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures in the middle to upper 50s.
Friday will be a partly sunny day with seasonable temperatures, rising into the middle 50s.
Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, Saturday brings us a comfortable day with highs near 60 degrees under partly sunny skies and a possible shower while Sunday brings us a cooler day with highs near 50 degrees and possible showers to the south of Metro Richmond, as our next storm system mainly misses us to the south.
Important reminder this weekend, to change your clocks one hour ahead for Daylight Saving Time.
Next work week is looking fabulous with warming temperatures and lots of sunshine.
Next Monday will be sunny with highs 60 to 65 degrees.
Tuesday of next week will be a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and highs around 70 degrees.
Wednesday of next week will be even nicer outside under partly sunny skies and highs around 75 degrees.
Our next legitimate chance for rain showers comes back to Central Virginia for next Thursday, with highs in the upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies.
