StormTracker 8: Changes to cooler temperatures
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - We will see partly sunny skies to start the day however mostly sunny skies will push back in by the lunch hour and stay throughout the afternoon. It will be a breezy and pleasant day with highs in the lower 70s. Clear skies to mainly clear skies will be with us tonight and it will be cool with lows in the middle 40s across Metro Richmond which means some of you will be in the lower 40s to the north and west. It looks like Tuesday will be a much cooler day with some sun to start but really clouds will develop throughout the day and there could be a few passing showers. Look for high temperatures to top out only near 60. Our skies will clear out later Tuesday night and will drop back into the lower 40s across Metro Richmond by Wednesday morning but many areas to the west and north of Richmond will drop into the 30s and it could be some patchy frost by early Wednesday morning. Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies, and it will remain cool with highs around 60. There's another risk of frost early Thursday morning especially for areas to the north and west of Richmond but then that sunshine will break out and we should see a nice although cool day with highs in the lower 60s. Friday will also be very nice with highs in the middle 60s under sunny skies. Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend we will continue with sunny skies and highs around 70.
