StormTracker8: Cold night ahead; still chilly Wednesday
Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- We will see mainly clear skies for this evening and the early part of tonight, but a couple of high clouds will move in as we head into early Wednesday morning. It will be a cold night with lows in the middle to upper 20s.
Partly sunny skies will be across Central Virginia for Wednesday, and it will remain chilly for this time of year with highs in the upper 40s.
Thursday will feature partly sunny skies to a mixture of clouds and sunshine; however, we could see a couple of showers developing by Thursday evening. We will finally get back to normal as our highest climb into the middle to upper 50s.
Some showers will move across Central Virginia Thursday night with lows around 40.
Our skies will become partly sunny on Friday, and it will be a beautiful day for the first day of spring with highs near 65. Spring officially begins Friday morning at 10:46.
Another round of showers is possible Friday night into early Saturday morning with lows in the lower to middle 40s.
Partly sunny skies will develop on Saturday, and it will be mild with highs in the middle 60s.
Sunday will start off partly sunny, but some extra clouds could push in during the second half of the day. It will remain mild with highs around 70.
Rain showers will develop Sunday night and continue through Monday as a weather system moves into Central Virginia from the north. Our high temperatures on Monday will be around 60.
Tuesday will feature mostly cloudy skies with the risk of a few showers, especially south of I-64, and it will be cooler with highs only near 50.
More showers are possible on Wednesday with highs near 60.
